Two lochs, rare species, walks, wilderness area and wildlife, it is a must see! Portpatrick, with its harbour, antique shops and golf courses is always worth a visit. Stranraer harbour is a busy place in summer with various kinds of boats, private & commercial arriving daily. Agnew Park is an ideal place to take the little ones. Sit & ride railway, sand pits, boating lake (shallow water), small beach and play areas. The park is about 100 metres from our guest house.

 

 


There is a lot to see and do in our region. We have an outstanding collection of public and private gardens open throughout the spring - autumn. There are 7 golf courses within easy reach of the Harbour Guest House! The picturesque harbour of Portpatrick is about 8 miles away. Stranraer itself offers a variety of restaurants, cafes and bar-meals to suit most tastes and pockets. (Within a short walk of the Harbour Guest House there are at least two Chinese restaurants, a Pizzaria, two Kebab houses, British restaurants, plus a large number of other outlets.)
